Phase I Committees & Working Groups
To focus the analysis of and debate about our university’s challenges and opportunities, several working groups and committees were established. These groups consisted of recommended faculty members staff, students, and alumni. Membership included subject-area experts who contributed their institutional perspectives to produce thoughtful preliminary reports.

Steering Committee – President Monaco, Provost Harris, Executive Vice President Campbell, all school deans, and other senior leaders, for full details click here.
Working Groups – Working groups, chaired by faculty members or senior academic staff, were asked to report on Tufts’ strengths and challenges in seven key areas.

Core Committees – Four core committees were charged with review and amalgamation of the working group reports to address important overarching issues as well as topics not covered by the working groups.
