Guiding Questions:

  • Tufts University has significant educational and research activities in international studies and internationalization. Should we encourage significant new international activities? If so, what kind? Should we encourage greater focus on a specific set of countries or regions to create a unique profile for the university?
  • Are students and researchers from various backgrounds and research areas provided with similar access to international studies and internationalization opportunities?
  • What barriers exist to international studies and internationalization?
  • What should we stop doing, or start doing very differently, if we aim to achieve our globalization goals?
