Cohort-Based Programs
CELT runs cohort-based programs throughout the year. In these multi-day programs, instructors engage with a community of peers across disciplines to discover and apply new approaches to teaching and learning. Expand the programs below to learn more and register.
In this semester-long program, formerly known as CELT Faculty Fellows, participants join a supportive, multi-disciplinary community of peers to reflect on and reenergize their teaching as they develop experiential, inclusive, evidence-based, and student-centered teaching practices.
Partner with a student for a semester to create innovative strategies for enhancing student engagement, increasing equity, and improving learning outcomes.
Develop or revise a course to integrate learning objectives, activities, and assessments. Offered as a week-long institute in August and as shorter, topic-focused retreats throughout the year.
Practice disciplined writing practices in protected writing time with a supportive community of peers.
Build a stronger foundation in pedagogy and apply evidence-based strategies to create more effective and inclusive learning environments. This program is designed especially for faculty who are newer to teaching or who want to revisit the foundations of their teaching practice.
