The Office of the Vice Provost for Education is pleased to launch the next cycle of Springboard Education Grants, supporting faculty and staff who are developing new approaches to learning across Tufts.

Aligned with the Tufts Beyond 175 strategic vision, Springboard Education Grants bring colleagues together across schools and units to develop interdisciplinary, transformative, flexible, scalable, and inclusive learning opportunities, in the classroom and beyond. Funded teams also become part of a university-wide cohort of education leaders connected through the Office of the Vice Provost for Education and the Impact Learning Network.

This year, Springboard offers two education funding opportunities:

Springboard Education Grants: General
Supporting interdisciplinary educational innovation, with priority given to projects that incorporate experiential learning, AI, or both.

Springboard Education Grants: Public Health
Supporting programs that prepare the next generation of public health leaders to tackle complex challenges across human, animal, environmental, and technological systems.

Applications for both grant opportunities are due Monday, November 30, 2026. Successful applicants will be notified within four weeks, with funding beginning January 1, 2027.

Please note: The Tufts Office of University Research and Innovation sponsors a separate Springboard Research Grant, which has a different application deadline.
