About the Search

Tufts University has launched the search for the next dean of Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. We have engaged the search firm Korn Ferry to facilitate the search and recruit a diverse pool of candidates.

The search committee will work with Korn Ferry to identify the qualities and characteristics of a successful dean, vet a pool of candidates, conduct first-round interviews and recommend 3–4 of these candidates to advance to second-round interviews with members of the Cummings School community, university leadership, and other stakeholders.

Search Committee

Helen W. Boucher, Dean of the School of Medicine, will chair the search committee and the committee is primarily representative of Cummings School faculty and staff. The members of the search committee are:

Listening Sessions

We will be hosting a day of in-person listening sessions on Tuesday, October 6, on the Grafton campus, and we invite Cummings School community members to attend the session that best fits their role at the school. Zoom links are available for those who cannot join in person. We will also be hosting two virtual listening sessions on Wednesday, October 7, and Thursday, October 8, for those who are unable to join the relevant session on October 6.
