Attendees: BLAST Incoming Students

Provost Aubry facilitates a casual meeting with incoming students of the BLAST summer program, where she describes the role of the provost while also providing students with the opportunity to ask questions.

BLAST is a residential six-week summer program designed to support students from underrepresented and marginalized backgrounds. They undergo an orientation to Tufts culture and resources while also preparing them for the rigorous college curriculum. Part of the program is a leadership development training where they are introduced to speakers such as Provost Aubry for the purpose of cultivating active citizenship.
