The Academic Program
Undergraduate
At Tufts, students can major in more than 70 undergraduate degree programs and can develop their educational program from thousands of undergraduate courses. The majority of courses are taught by full-time professors, most of whom hold a Ph.D. and many of whom are practicing professionals in their fields. With a student-faculty ratio of 9:1 and an average class size of approximately 20, Tufts provides its undergraduates the resources of a major research university with the attention of a liberal arts college.
