A conversation about confront student anxiety around grades:

Students entering Tufts have experienced earning high grades, even straight As, in highschool. For some their grades are an important part of their identity. It can be challenging adjusting to college and not being an “A student” in every course.  What can faculty do to ease student anxiety around grades? How can we think about adjusting university structures related to assessment and grading, as well as our own expectations and assumptions as faculty?
