With Appreciation for Our Faculty Community

Dear colleagues,

As another academic year comes to an end, I want to express my gratitude for the extraordinary work you do at Tufts. Faculty are the intellectual heart of this university, and our success is inseparable from your contributions. I am continually inspired by your dedication to teaching, research, scholarship, mentorship, and civic engagement. I am honored to serve as your provost and colleague.

Over the past year, you launched new collaborations across our campuses, supported students through moments of uncertainty and change, advanced impactful research and scholarship, and used your leadership to strengthen both your disciplines and our shared academic community. These efforts matter deeply. They shape our students’ lives, elevate Tufts’ impact, and reaffirm our mission every day.

I am grateful to be part of such an exceptional community and look forward to continuing our work together into the next academic year. This is our final issue of Faculty Minute until mid-August, but my team and I are available throughout the summer; please reach out if we can provide support in any way.
