Tufts Innovates!
Tuesday, October, 16th, 2012
The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce the 2012 recipients of Tufts Innovates! seed grants. This program, introduced by the Office of the Provost in December 2010, facilitates the exploration of new approaches to enrich student learning. The new projects will begin implementation in June and continue through the 2013 academic year. They will join the current Innovates! projects in enhancing our students’ educational experiences across Tufts University for years to come.
Funding decisions were made through a peer review process including faculty and administrative staff, and based on several criteria, including potential impact on learning by Tufts students, degree of educational innovation, likelihood for sustainability, and viability within departmental, school and/or programmatic frameworks. We thank the many faculty and staff who submitted excellent proposals, not only making this year’s decisions particularly difficult, but also indicating the widespread commitment to improving student learning across Tufts.
