Tufts Talks Openly: Programming Updates
Monday, February, 12th, 2024
Dear Tufts community members,
Due to the predicted snow forecast, there have been a couple changes to this week’s Tufts Talks Openly programming:
- Dialogue & Action in an Age of Divides
- Tomorrow’s event (February 13), “Coming Together Across Difference: Finding Common Ground Across Identities and Political Divides,” will be virtual only. The on-campus viewing event and post-panel dinner are cancelled.
- If you would still like to watch the panel discussion, you can register directly with Northeastern University.
- Anti-Bias and Non-Discrimination Trainings
- The February 14 trainings with Dr. Amer F. Ahmed on addressing anti-Muslim and anti-Arab bias will be rescheduled.
- We are working closely with Dr. Ahmed to find a new date as soon as possible.
- We will be sending an update on the new date, as well as a date for an upcoming training with Project Shema on understanding antisemitism and creating an inclusive campus environment for our Jewish community.
February 16: Community Conversation with Professor Eileen Babbitt
February 21: Facilitating Inclusive and Responsive Dialogues
February 28: Planning for Important and Sometimes Challenging Classroom Conversations: Part 1
March 4: Tufts Table
March 6: Planning for Important and Sometimes Challenging Classroom Conversations: Part 2
