Dear Tufts community members,
Thank you for engaging and participating in Tufts Talks Openly programming so far. It has been wonderful to see our community come together for dialogue and learning opportunities to make connections and create a more inclusive community for all.
We welcome you to RSVP for our upcoming events and trainings:
Featured Event
Tufts Table – One Health: Past and Current Considerations for an Inclusive Future
March 4, 2024, 6–8 p.m.
Med Ed Room 114 (145 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA 02111)
RSVP by February 29
Tufts Table is a free community dinner and dialogue series open to students, faculty, and staff from across all four campuses. Tufts Table provides community members, who might not otherwise cross paths, with the opportunity to make connections and share perspectives on subjects such as exploring our intersecting identities, finding a sense of belonging and community, and creating a more inclusive Tufts. In order to support and connect members across the Tufts community, transportation is available to the Boston campus from the Medford and Grafton campuses; please indicate if you need transportation on the RSVP form.
Anti-Bias and Non-Discrimination Trainings
We are offering anti-bias and non-discrimination trainings with sessions curated for faculty and staff audiences, as well as students:
- On March 26, facilitators from Project Shema will lead a training on understanding antisemitism and creating an inclusive campus environment for our Jewish community.
- On March 27, Dr. Amer F. Ahmed (Vice Provost for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at University of Vermont) will lead a training focused on supporting our Arab, Muslim, Palestinian, and larger MENA (Middle Eastern and North African) community.
