Activities and Opportunities for Emeriti Faculty

Annual Luncheon

The Office of the Provost invites emeriti faculty to attend an annual luncheon held on the Medford/Somerville campus.  It provides an opportunity for you to visit the campus and stay connected with former colleagues.

Email Access

Tufts is pleased to automatically extend your university email address after retirement. If you have any issues with your email account in the future, you or your department administrator should send an email to it@tufts.edu and they will help to resolve the issue.

Parking

Emeriti faculty from the Medford/Somerville campus may request a parking permit without charge from the Office of the Provost to use when parking on the Medford/Somerville campus. Shortly after your emeriti status is conferred, the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty will reach out to you to gather license plate information. We are only able to provide a parking permit for one vehicle per emeriti faculty and the permit is non-transferrable. If you have any questions, please contact faculty@tufts.edu for more information. If your license plate number changes, please contact faculty@tufts.edu to update it.

Emeriti faculty from the Grafton campus may apply to Public Safety on the Grafton Campus for a parking permit, and the fee will be waived. Please note that your parking permit is for your use only and cannot be transferred to any other individual.
