Heather Dwyer
As Senior Associate Director, Heather supports faculty and graduate students in their teaching endeavors across a range of educational development initiatives. She contributes to planning and facilitating course design institutes, the annual university-wide teaching conference, and faculty fellows programs. Heather also provides leadership on programs and initiatives that center diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice, such as the Pedagogical Partnership Program. Her work is published in To Improve the Academy, the Journal of Applied Research in Higher Education, Frontiers in Education, and Ecology and Evolution. She brings experiences from centers for teaching and learning at Carnegie Mellon University and Suffolk University. Heather earned her Ph.D. in Ecology at UC Davis. She lives in Cambridge with her husband and two children.
