Nicholas Covaleski

Assistant Director

As Assistant Director, Nicholas contributes to the development of CELT programing to meet faculty needs across disciplines, focusing on experiential education and the ethical uses of AI as a tool for teaching and learning. Nicholas brings experience teaching bioethics to graduate students at Harvard Medical School and religious studies and writing to undergraduates at Boston University. He earned his PhD from Boston University specializing in religion, ethics, and technology, and is the author of the forthcoming book Frontiers in American Religion: Myth, Technology, and the Making of a Pioneering People (Bloomsbury, 2026). Nicholas plays acoustic guitar and lives in Cambridge with his wife and cat.
