Carie Cardamone supports faculty and institution-wide initiatives to transform teaching, learning, and curriculum across disciplines. She brings expertise in the implications of generative AI for student learning and educational practice, learning science-informed pedagogy and assessment. Carie employs both quantitative and qualitative approaches in her research on educational innovations and development, assisting faculty in applying scholarly practices to their roles as educators. Trained as an astrophysicist and educational researcher, Carie brings prior experiences as an Assistant Professor of Astronomy at Wheelock College, a Postdoctoral Fellow in Physics at MIT, and an Associate Director of Sciences at Brown University's teaching center.
