Annual Winter University-Wide Writer’s Retreat

This annual writing retreat co-sponsored by CELT and OVPR is held virtually for any staff and faculty who wish to protect a block of time to make progress on any writing project. Coming together as a community can help decrease the isolation that can attend writing. This is a great opportunity to put the finishing touches on a syllabus, grant proposal, manuscript, or get a new project going before the semester starts.
We will begin at 10 am ET promptly with the setting of intentions for the day. We will encourage writers to take a break for lunch, a walk, and to rest from the screen at some point during the day. We will come back at 2:45 pm for a check-out. Grant writing support is available during this event as well as thought partnership and emotional support.
