Celia Campbell is the Administrative Associate Provost.
Reporting directly to the Provost and as a member of their leadership team, Celia serves as the principal administrative and financial person for the Office of the Provost. This position provides leadership for overall administrative and fiscal planning and institutional resource management as well as serving as primary liaison to Central Administration and units reporting through the Provost Office.
Duties include exploring various means and avenues of alternative funding for programs and making recommendations to the Provost and/or University administration regarding major issues of fiduciary responsibility, fund management, reallocation and policy.
As a member of the Provost’s Staff, the Administrative Associate Provost attends and participates in Provost’s Senior Staff, departmental meetings and senior retreats, and other events to represent fiscal and administrative policies, processes, procedures and recommendations in conjunction with the Provost, Vice Provosts and Assistant Provosts.

Celia began her career at Tufts over 32 years ago as a Staff Accountant in Sponsored Programs Accounting. She was promoted to Senior Staff Accountant, Supervisor and Assistant Manager while part of that office. In 1998 Celia joined the Finance, Planning and Budget Office as a Senior Budget Analyst and was a member of the PeopleSoft implementation team. After 7 years in this role Celia became the Director of Administration and Finance at The Fletcher School.
