Hannah Macfarlane
Communications Specialist
Hannah is responsible for the overall communications strategy of the office, focusing on engaging the innovation community and developing the innovation brand. She was a communications specialist in the Office for Technology Transfer and Industry Collaboration from January of 2022 until the founding of the OVPI in July of 2022.
From 2018-2021, Hannah worked as a project administrator at the Friedman School, where she managed a research study led by Christina Economos evaluating the impact of a social media campaign on child feeding behaviors. Prior to coming to Tufts, Hannah spent several years working in children’s media and animation. She has a BA in Radio/Television/Film from Northwestern University and an MS in Nutrition Interventions, Communication, and Behavior Change from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University.
