Below you will find some helpful resources detailing our survey work and how we can assist you with your survey research efforts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-4088-1\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-4088-1-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-4088-1-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_toggles panel-first-child\" data-index=\"1\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-toggles so-widget-toggles-toggles-style-a5ea9c76baab-4088\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n\n<div class=\"soua-main\">\n            <div class=\"soua-accordion\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"soua-accordion-title\"  aria-expanded=\"false\">Survey Review Process<\/button>\n            <div class=\"soua-accordion-content\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <p>Surveys at Tufts collect valuable information from students, faculty, staff, and alumni. They are used to understand the perspectives and experiences of members of the university community, contribute to general knowledge about Tufts, and evaluate and support institutional priorities. However, over-surveying the university community can have negative implications for response rates, data quality, and the respondent experience. To ensure that surveys at Tufts can fulfill their objectives, OIR has adopted a survey review process.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/provost.tufts.edu\/institutionalresearch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/Survey-Review-Process.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Survey Review Process (PDF)<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/div><!-- \/.soua-accordion -->\n    <\/div> <!-- \/ accordion --><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-4088-1-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_toggles\" data-index=\"2\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-toggles so-widget-toggles-toggles-style-a5ea9c76baab-4088\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n\n<div class=\"soua-main\">\n            <div class=\"soua-accordion\">\n            <button type=\"button\" class=\"soua-accordion-title\"  aria-expanded=\"false\">Survey Proposal Form<\/button>\n            <div class=\"soua-accordion-content\" aria-hidden=\"true\"> <p>In addition to OIR's core survey work, we offer consultation services for surveys that are associated with individual units at Tufts and may recommend external survey vendors for initiatives that fall outside the office\u2019s scope or subject matter expertise. If you are interested in utilizing OIR\u2019s survey support and consultation services, please read the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/provost.tufts.edu\/institutionalresearch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/Survey-Review-Process.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Survey Review Process<\/a><\/strong> before submitting a Survey Proposal Form. An OIR staff member will follow up to discuss your proposal. The survey calendar lists approximate dates of currently planned surveys that OIR or others at Tufts will distribute to faculty, staff, and students during the academic year. OIR manages administration, data preparation and storage, reporting, and analysis for these surveys. With a few exceptions, responses to surveys administered by OIR are kept confidential.
