*Strategies for Teaching at the Bedside*
– Features of successful bedside teaching rounds
– Planning for bedside teaching
– Strategies for teaching effectively at the bedside<\/p>\n

*Global Reach, Local Contexts: The Role of Distance Learning in
Communities of Practice*
– Using distance learning to reach out to a global audience
– Customizing learning for a global audience based on their content
– Using distance learning to extend communities of practice<\/p>\n

*OSCE and Compassionate Care*
– Using the OSCE to teach the attributes and behaviors of a
compassionate health care provider
– Integrating technology with the OSCE strategy to provide exemplars
and support the feedback process<\/p>\n

*Faculty Perspectives on Teaching with Classroom Response systems
(iClicker) in the Health Sciences*
– Educational approaches to enhance student engagement
– Strategies to gage student understanding of material
– Faculty experiences using the iClicker system to support
instructional goals and student learning<\/p>\n
