We work to support each other in welcoming students to the learning process, by eliciting and engaging with their\u00a0students' disciplinary thinking.<\/p>\n<p>Many Tufts graduate students and faculty members have participated in the Listening Project, becoming <a href=\"https:\/\/tufts.box.com\/v\/past-participants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Listening Project alums<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-12740-0-0-4\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-last-child\" data-index=\"4\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><h3 class=\"widget-title\">Quotes from Listening Project participants<\/h3>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p><em>\"It is easy to read into a student's comments what you're expecting to hear\u2026It's very difficult to reflect carefully on what is being said when you're at the front of the room, outnumbered, and trying to get through a certain amount of the curriculum.
