Data-Intensive Studies Center

The Data-Intensive Studies Center (DISC) aims to engage faculty and students across Tufts as you pursue research and educational goals. We welcome your comments on the proposal. Please email provost@tufts.edu or attend one of three upcoming sessions where Vice Provost for Research Simin Meydani and Provost David Harris will be leading discussions of DISC:

Thursday, October 20                    12:00 pm – 1:00 pm (Grafton, Dean’s Conference Room)

Wednesday, November 2              9:30 am – 10:30 am (Boston, Dental School Room 1414)

Wednesday, November 9              4:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Medford, Tisch Library, Room 304)

Please note that the proposal focuses on the substantive components of DISC. The administrative and budgetary components, which are also critical to the success of this initiative are under development and will be affected by what emerges from the substantive review.
