Nancy WilsonNancy Wilson is the interim dean of the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service. During her time at Tufts, she has played a central role in managing the programmatic and operational aspects of Tisch College, helping it to become an integral part of the Tufts landscape and a national model for university civic engagement. As director and associate dean, she guided Tisch College’s strategic direction and managed student, alumni and community programs, program evaluation, communications and finances. She also manages strategic relationships such as Mass Campus Compact and several University-based student and staff organizations. She has served as Project Director for community service and action research projects, working across multiple departments, disciplines, and communities. She has also contributed to the advancement of Tisch College’s academic goals by teaching an undergraduate course on innovative social enterprises, and has co-authored several papers on civic engagement in higher education.

Before joining Tisch College in 2004, Dean Wilson worked in Johannesburg, South Africa as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting. Her previous experience included more than ten years working on behalf of non-profit and foundation initiatives focused on social and economic development efforts in eastern and southern Africa. She earned B.A. and MBA degrees from Stanford University.
