As Advisor to the Provost for the International Board and other international projects, Dean Nutter is responsible for the strategic development and management of the university's International Board of Overseers, whose mission is to further the internationalization of the university. She is responsible for conceptualizing and managing the Tufts in the World Program, a program that introduces the university-its trustees and overseers, administrators, and faculty-to the government, business, and educational communities in countries of strategic importance to the university. These annual trips and programs enhance the international presence and profile and strategic relationships of Tufts throughout the world.

She is also responsible for the development and implementation of the Fletcher's signature Global Masters of Arts Program, a combined residency and computer-mediated instruction master's program for high-level international affairs professionals. As Director of GMAP, she continues to teach courses in foreign policy leadership, supervise team dynamics, and advise on master's theses. Dean Nutter is responsible for oversight of the curriculum, admissions and marketing, technology, and supervision of administrative staff and thirty faculty for the program.
