Jamshed Bharucha Provost and Senior Vice President

Peggy Newell Vice Provost
	Serves as deputy to the provost on a broad range of University-wide issues Works with the provost in the strategic development of University priorities Oversees the Office of the Boards of Overseers Responsible for pre-award and non-fiscal post-award administration of grants and contracts Oversees protection, management, and licensing of the University's intellectual property Oversees the implementation of the University's policies on conflict of interest in research and scientific misconduct Oversees the use of human subjects and laboratory animals in research Promotes an environment that facilitates and encourages research at the University
Mary Y. Lee Associate Provost
	Serves as co-chair (with the Vice President for Information Technology) of the Information Technology Council that oversees central IT for the university and its seven schools Oversees the University Library Council for Tufts' five libraries Oversees Digital Collections and Archives and University Library Technology Services Oversees the University Committee on Teaching and Faculty Development and related activities to support faculty in their academic roles Works closely with Administrative and Academic Technology to support education and research across the university Supports cross-school initiatives such as OpenCourseWare in collaboration with the Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service
Vincent P. Manno Associate Provost and Professor of Mechanical Engineering
	Works closely with the University Council on Graduate Education, the academic leadership of the schools and the faculty to identify and nurture programs of distinction that best utilize the university's unique set of disciplinary strengths With the University Council on Graduate Education and the Provost, supports the Provost's Fellows program and develops new initiatives for supporting graduate education Chairs the University Interdisciplinary Programs Council
Deborah Winslow Nutter Advisor to the Provost for the International Board of Overseers, Senior Associate Dean, the Fletcher School
	Advises the provost on strategic development and management of the University's International Board of Overseers, with the mission of furthering the internationalization of the University. Is responsible for conceptualizing, developing and implementing the Tufts in the World program that introduces the University to government, business and education communities internationally. As Senior Associate Dean of the Fletcher School, serves in the dean's cabinet for The Fletcher School, exercising broad executive responsibility for strategic initiatives, relationships with governments and management of relations with Fletcher's board of overseers and its European and Asian advisory groups Oversees and directs The Fletcher School's Global Master of Arts Program, with full admissions, budgetary, staffing, and development responsibilities.
Elizabeth Canny Senior Assistant Provost for Faculty Administration
	Is responsible for the oversight of all academic appointments Develops business agenda for the Trustee Academic, Affairs Committee Works with representatives from all schools in gathering documents which require administrative/trustee approval and report trustee actions back to school representatives Serves as office manager for the Provost's Office Responds to inquiries regarding university policies, faculty appointments and leaves, etc. Monitors budgets and submits budget projections for the Office of the Provost Provides information to the Finance Division regarding the establishment of endowed chairs and appointment of faculty to endowed chairs Provides information to various offices for publications
Suna Grassi Assistant Provost
	Works with the Provost and the Vice Provost on a variety of initiatives, including academic planning, priority setting, and facility planning Is responsible for oversight and fiscal management of Office of the Provost budgets and discretionary accounts. Is Budget Fiscal Officer (BFO) of the Provost's Office, Provost's laboratory, Office of the Vice Provost, Office for Technology Licensing & Industry Collaboration, Boards of Overseers office, Digital Collections and Archives, Tufts Institute for the Environment, WSSS, Institute for Global Leadership, Fares Center, European Center, Department of Laboratory Animal Medicine, and Office of Institutional Research & Evaluation Manages Human Resources responsibilities for Provost's units Assists with management of the Vice Provost's office Provides high level of oversight of IT systems and websites for the Vice Provost's office Edits and publishes Research News @ Tufts, an online newsletter Provides oversight of Research Days

Caroline Campbell Program Development Director
	Develops, implements, manages, and is primary contact person for Associate Provost Lee's projects and programs, including those involving the University Committee on Teaching and Faculty Development (UCTFD), University Library Council, Digital Collections and Archives, University Library Technology Services, OpenCourseWare Initiative, distance learning, digital education resources, and TUSK Manages Associate Provost Lee's grant proposals, including researching and preparing application, developing budget, co-writing and editing proposal and all required reports, collecting and compiling supporting documents, and coordinating submission Assists in drafting, editing, and coordinating submission of articles written for publication Coordinates the University Seminar program and the Academic Leadership Development Program Is liaison to the University-wide Committee on Ethics, and coordinates UCTFD meetings and e-list Manages website for UCTFD/faculty development, University Seminar, University-wide Committee on Ethics
Jillian Dubman Secretary of the Faculty for Arts, Sciences and Engineering
	Schedules faculty meetings and maintains records of faculty minutes for AS&E, A&S, Engineering, GSAS and the College of Special Studies Supports several AS&E Committees: T&P Committee, B&P Committee, Executive Committee, Committee on Committees, the Curriculum Committee for A&S and Engineering, and the Faculty Advisory Board.
